Expected Production Workflow

Expected Production Workflow

This lesson the class have been thinking about what our expected workflow would be like for our films and in what order the process would come in. Myself and my group thought that the order would go something like this:

The point behind this workflow was to give us an idea behind what the full process would be and what we will be doing when we begin to create our films. The order my group and I put here is not completely correct but for a first attempt we got some parts in the correct place :)

Welcome!

Heya and welcome to my blog. :)

In this blog you will be following me throughout my OCR AS Media Studies Course and learning alongside me all the different areas that I need to make my Film a success and hopefully it will help you to make a successful film yourself (if you wanted to of course). I'm doing this blog so that you will be able to read what I've been up to and all the things I will be going to do.
Currently I have been working on a small 30-40 second film (in a group of three) in the Western Genre. We used both humour and seriousness in the film (combining the typical serious cowboy with a welsh cowboy) = it proved to be a success and earned us 18/20 :D.
To shoot the film we had to learn different Camera movements, Camera Shots, Cut Types and different techniques to make the film even better; (Further on in my blog (using the side bar) I will link videos and brief explanations of these for you to look at).

The reason that I decided to study Media is because I find the creation of film intriguing and because I have a strong interest in camera work (Photography, Videos etc.) I also thought that by taking a new root in my studies I would be opening more doors to which career I could do as I mature and get older.
